Attention to Attention: A systematic Literature Review and Research Avenues.
Short summary of the presentation – In the first part of his research, Matthieu takes an analytical, synthetic, and critical approach, based on an in-depth literature review, to the definition and use of the notion of attention. In this talk, he will present his first work to be submitted to an academic journal (and first chapter of his thesis). He will define the purpose; methodology and first results of the literature review he is developing about the concept of attention in management and other related social sciences fields.
Matthieu Seca is currently a PhD student at the University of Paris-Saclay, under the supervision of Professors Christophe Assens (LAREQUOI, UVSQ) and Hajer Kefi (DVRC). He
earned a master’s degree in Management Science, ETOS (Technological, Organizational and Strategic Evolutions), obtained with honors and as valedictorian at the University of Versailles
Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (ISM-IAE). His thesis focuses on the mechanisms of engagement and attention capture of consumers in the context of digital platforms for the distribution of audiovisual
and more broadly cultural content.
